Executive Biography
Nancy Paradis is an award-winning choreographer, dance-on-film director, and veteran dance educator with over four decades of professional performance experience and 25 years in higher education. As the Founder and Artistic Director of LA Dance Moves, Nancy leads a company dedicated to producing evocative live concert repertoire and high-concept dance films.
Her choreographic works have been commissioned and staged by premier companies and institutions across the nation, including Richmond Ballet (New Works Festival), The Realm Company, Ballet OC, and Westside Ballet. A dedicated pedagogue, Nancy serves on the faculty at Moorpark College and has held prestigious faculty appointments at the University of California, Irvine (UCI) and Loyola Marymount University (LMU).
Nancy’s work seamlessly integrates rigorous classical ballet mechanics with expressive contemporary partnering and anatomical safety.
